Halloween Woes
Yesterday, the girls got to wear their costumes to school. They were so excited and we even painted Hayley's face. When they came home, Ryeley was a little sad. I asked her how her day went and she said that no one liked her costume. Now, I made the costume so I think it's darling. I'm not biased or anything. :o) It turns out that none of the kids in her class knew who wonder woman was! They thought she looked like an American flag. I suspected that we were one of the only ones who still watched the old series (Well, us and the Wheeler's . . . cute FHE story). Hmmm. I told her that when we added the bullet blocking bracelets and the truth telling rope that it would make all the difference. I hope it turns out okay tonight!

Don't know who Wonder Woman is?!! The coolest FEMALE super hero ever? What is the world coming to? I thought this was the age of women's lib?! Aren't mothers teaching their daughters about Wonder Woman? So what if she wears a gold bra and a blue diaper with stars on it! She is as strong as Superman and can make people tell the truth. Plus her alter ego's name is Diana. It doesn't get any better than that!!
What?! My boys would have totally known who she was. Yes, they've watched the old series and the new Justice League. For a while Wonder Woman was Enoch's favorite Super Hero.
